Dual display on Acer Aspire X1700

I have a Acer Aspire X1700 desktop. I want to connect two monitors on this PC to obtain dual screen. Here's the back of the unit (graphics card Geforce 9500 GS)

    What do you recommend?

In fact, what's the question? And what connection do you use

Guess if I had any problem, I would say maybe the hdmi to dvi and may not be used simultaneously. in short, is nothing in the manual?

I know how to connect a second display for dual display. When I plug a monitor into the DVI port and one for VGA, the one in VGA is not recognized.

    Thank you for your answers

In theory you can use the CGA and DVI simultaneously or DVI and HDMI but probably not HDMI and VGA

Whether in the Windows control panel or Nvidia, the second screen plugged in VGA is not displayed.

Hence my question: can we connect 2 screens on one graphics card (I am not sure the 9500 GS offers a DualView mode).

If not, how? Are there no adapters: 1 DVI to 2 VGA to display 2 different views (not the same screen)?

Yes you can, if the card has two output you can use 2 monitors

The only restriction is if a card with HDMI or you are limited HDMI + VGA on the DVI port via adapter

Any reason for a con: the card has 2 output modules that manages all or a VGA (analog) or digital (DVI or HDMI)

On a DVI connector you risk no error since it is important to HDMI adapter, but it's different, you have 2 different physically taken from you or may attempt to use a VGA at the moment inaccessible or the output is reserved by the HDMI

But it is as rare cases

Were you able to resolve this problem? I just purchased a Aspire X1700 today after specifically asking if the PC would support dual monitors. The settings won't hold in Windows Vista and my second monitor is, right now, useless.

I really need a dual monitor setup to work and don't have the budget for another (more expensive) computer, so I need to get this one to work if at all possible...

If you were able to get your second monitor to work, please let me know how. Thanks!
