Geforce GTX 295 or Ati 4870x2

    Hi everyone,

I hesitate greatly between these two cards (price not an issue). I see that the GTX 295 is more efficient in gross but not DirectX 10.1 compatible and I fear that the 4870x2 can make a difference when the games come out optimized for this version of DX. Any opinion?

the point where we are, since DX10.1 is a lease, but nothing is ever released to exploit it. What is expected for a little less than a year now is DX11.

Depending on your use, gtx 295 to the advantage of CUDA and more

Yeah but I saw that on some operator DX10.1 games in high resolution (I played on a 24-inch), the 4870 was not before? So I told myself that if other games use DX 10.1

DX10.1 is dead and buried, we go directly to dx11. It is not at this point that these 2 cards can be separated

Yeah, at first the graphics filters are more effective on the 4870x2 at first but otherwise the 295 air before me.

Is better that I follow the advice of rohit?

    Thanks

Do not lose sight of the need to change the graphics card to take advantage of DX11, so be careful in terms of investment on the GTC.

Another point to consider for the big budget: Graphics more.

Coupled with DX11, it was there, I think a bright future for games.

This means, a graphics card DX11 compatible, a screen as 2233rz (@ 120Hz), in principle, the screen should be directly marketed as a kit with 3D glasses and dongle to connect to the screen.

To do so, it will require nvidia graphics card.

Today, with the screen kit, a GTX260 is a minimum for an acceptable quality of Graphics more.
