    Extreme Graphics Error GTX 260

    Hi,
In most games like COD5, Left4Dead ... comes after a period as a mistake: The whole screen is full of errors and the graphic in the colors green, blue, yellow, etc. That way you can be nothing more on the monitor until the error!Must be the PC off and restart again! I have checked for viruses, errors on the hard drive and the latest graphics drivers are loaded and there's nothing! I have a GTX 260 Black Edition from Nvidia!Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it? Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Did chkdsk indicate that the errors were on the drive itself -- or it just couldn't run period because the drive could not be "mounted" or something like that?

You probably need to look for underlying hardware issues that could cause this as well -- perhaps bad ram or overheating.Keep your installation relatively simple for a while and don't install application from untrusted sources.

Try System Properties (Winkey+Pause), Device Manager, Display Adapter, Your Card, Properties button. You should be able to view similar information about what driver is in use from Display Properties (right click on desktop select properties), Settings tab, Advanced button, Adapter tab. Here you may also find more useful tabs related to your video and monitor as video card software will sometimes add stuff here when you install the drivers for it off the installation CD.
