Connecting XBOX 360 to laptop through HDMI

    Hi,
I have Dell inspiron 1526 and It has a HDMI capability. I know it can be used as an output to a TV but what I want to know is, is it possible to connect my XBOX 360 to that HDMI and somehow make it display on the laptop? HDMI is both input and output isnt it? so do i just get a hdmi cable and hook them both up

    Thanks for any answer?

if you have one of the newer xbox that has an HDMI port on the back, then you just need an HDMI cable.

I've just bought a new laptop and have hooked it to my TV via HDMi but obviously I don't use the TV for audio . But it think this will also work with xbox 360 if it have HDMI port.
