Change graphics card

Hello,
one of my PC starts to date (configuration from autumn 2004), and I want to change a bit to play newer games (Sacred 2 and Diablo 3 in sight, no SPF) .

Specification of my pc:
Intel Pentium IV 3 GHz HT 2
1 GB DDR2 RAM
128MB Radeon X300 SE
Windows XP SP3
Dell 17-inch screen
FSB 800

Support PCI Express 16x, PCIE 2nd generation not supported
I intend to switch to 2 GB of RAM, and change the graphics card. Regarding the graphics card, here are my constraints:
Budget of € 100 max
256 MB RAM, 512 if possible
Requires a PCI Express 16x (1st Generation)
Simple card slot

I went through the tests of different chipsets, but I am struggling to decide Can you suggest me to certain models?

Hi,
I suggest you SAPPHIRE Radeon card 4830 - 512 MB DDR3 - PCI Express 2.0 or NVIDIA GeForce 9800!. The first is slightly (and sometimes much) more efficient. for your budget For your budget a little HD4670 would be ideal, the 9800GTalso not bad either.

The above 2 cards will be limited by the processor, Then look at the power supply also.

256 MB RAM, 512 if possible

512 unnecessary in your case. I do not know sacred2, but I think your Processor will make things difficult (not to mention diablo3 which is not even out)

yes that is clear is that for a HD4670 enough. As for playing games mentioned not knowing I could not say, but it is clear that its processor it may be difficult for you to play those games.
