Driver ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT

I recently purchased a laptop with xp professional intel centrino
core duo and ati radeon HD 2400 XT that I use at peak performance
(1440 x 900 pixels and 32-bit color). I immediately noticed that
lack of updates occurring portions of the page as well as pieces of
windows that overlap with others and so on, there was also
any type of control software for color adjustment and other, only
the setting of the resolution.

I went on the ATI site and I have searched for updated drivers
see if that was not the problem. Hitch here first: on this
page (http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html) between the configurations
hardware for which you can download the request must
must choose "Radeon" as a tab and then find the model
precise (HD 2400 XT), but on my pc the video card is indicated
with that model but as a "Mobility Radeon" and not just "Radeon".

i Download software from game.amd full version 45 MB
but when I try to install the installation software tells me that not
may be because there are no drivers compatible with my
system configuration.
please any help can i get form here to solve this problem ?

ATi does not offer direct support to the mobility, you should try drivers
updated on the site of the manufacturer.Or you could try tweakforce, which sometimes works and sometimes forced to format.

drivers .inf files don't have the hardware ids for your mobility card.
What to do is to uninstall the drivers and install modtool to mod the drives so that they will work with mobility chip.
