Difference between VGA and DVI

I just received my Eeebox from Asus, on which I installed Windows Media Center 2005.

My Plasma is a Samsung HD Ready with the definition 1366x768.

My problem is the following: - connect to the Asus VGA plasma gives me the MCE interface screen in plain (16/9em) therefore 1366x768. As against the Asus link DVI in plasma gives me the MCE interface to 4 / 3 because the normal definition this hold on the 720x576.

Having read that link DVI forestry better quality than the VGA that I have a problem.

I suppose that many of us in this case? How did you resolve this problem?

Give us details about your config and the reference of your plasma, it will help.

xp and under what happens,

you must be able to adjust the definition.

Depending on the screen it may be that the VGA or better quality as the reverse is possible.
