    Incorrect display on monitor

    Good evening

I am having trouble with my display settings.
History-no problems until I used my monitore to assist my colleague to find info on an obsolete PC. It operated wnormally whilst doing this but since I have reconnected it to my PC it does the following:

Reverts to basic/lowest setting. I then alter settings to 1280 x 768-this applies and then when I use Outlook or use a link from Outlook to a Browser it reverts to lowest setting again.

I am non-technical so would appreciate plain language assistance please. Many thanks

    Re: Incorrect display on monitor

Try to go to the desktop right click then go to properties, settings then check under display, just above the screen resolution part, if you have 1 or more displays listed there. If its there, just let it stay on multiple monitor, click advanced button, click monitor tab, then properties, then driver tab, then uninstall it. Once you're done, restart the system. And that will give you a chance to change the resolution. Revert back here if this won't fix the issue.
