Is Geforce GTX 280 compatible with my configuration ?

I want to know if a Geforce GTX 280 would be consistent with my stuff ...

    My config:

    CASE: Super Talent 372B4 ATX 400w Black/Silver
    Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200 + 2.2 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS M2NPV-VM MicroATX with nVIDIA GeForce 6150
    RAM: 3GB

Are what this card comes in an average round?
    Because I already had this problem with a 8800GTX a time ...
    Are these the same formats?

It depends on the graphics card and not the gpu. Generally compatibility is not a problem. A lot depends on its size but it will probably be the same format as your 8800GTX.

    1) For the 400W psu, I am not sure that it is of super quality ... So for the GTX280 it is not good.

    2) Grade size GTX280 is also the "king size" as the 8800GTX, so it may be trapped

    3) Your trial is not the height of a GTX280

    Thank you all.

So what would I need as a minimum for processor and psu to be able to rotate properly ?

I don't really have a budget. The goal is to get out with good stuff for the cheapest possible.

In fact I bought GTA 4 on PC, but I am disappointed because it was not running with my graphics card. I have a 8600. I know this is not extraordinary, but a map for example, I rotated left 4 dead a substantive and very pretty. same with Call of duty 4 I met quite high in the graphics ... (far from a building on that game )

When I installed GTA 4 I had a big slap on the wrist. Unplayable (no exaggeration) of course I do not buy a graphics card just for a game Well, among others ....

Let us say you are still with your 4200 + but with a GTX280 it'll be limited to substance.

GTA4 is a little bit different in the sense that development was doing to do quickly, and there are plenty of problems even for those who have config crazy.

According to see if a BIOS upgrade your motherboard supports a phenom, with a small 500W power supply and your little GTX280 or otherwise.

For GTA4, you need a very good processor with at least 3 GHz to be quiet ... But with your 4200+ you are very far.
