    Nvidia graphics card 9500 GS

    Hello to all of you,

In recent days I have purchased a new computer with an Nvidia 9500GS graphics card (512 Mb) (correct any games for the moment it seems). But I can not play more than 2 minutes to World of Warcraft, or any other Trackmania games without those two minutes after my screen freezes, leaving here and there small artifacts (traces blocky) am requiring a reboot as the main way to drive under Windows.

I wondered if it was well my graphics card and the purchase of a Series 8, or any other brand could fix the problem : / Coach on several forums I understand that many of Nvidia 9 series had a lot of problem with the games.

    Otherwise my config:

    Windows Vista SP1 64-bit
    5 GB of RAM
Nvidia 9500 GS card (512 mb)
    4 x 2.40 GHz processor

I await your answers with impatience, Thank you.

Nvidia GS 9500 she has a radiator liabilities (entend without the fans) because the problem you described looks like a problem of overheating! If it is a passive card then your camera must have a circulation system of air a minimum effective!

To see the temperature of your graphics card, you normally have to do with these steps:

    1. Right Click on the empty space of the destop
    2. click 'properties'
    3. click 'setting'
    4. click 'advance'
    5. click your 'GeForce' tag
    6. on the right popup panel, you should be able to find 'temperature' if you video card comes with a temperature probe. click it and you will see your video core's temperature.

    Hope this helps.

If the heat from the graphics card is causing the CPU heat to be higher than normal, then the solution is to fit more case fans to ensure that the temperature insde the case is kept low. Your CPU temp is well within the tolerances of the CPU however, so it will cause no problems.

It would be helpful to say what system specs you have...

Some processors are quite content at 56C and some GPUs normally work at around 70C...

Everything in your system is going to get hot, its just a matter of managing it.
