Hi
You need a cable that can connect your PC to your TV. Below are some of the cables used in connecting a computer to a television.
- S-Video - This is the common cable used because it is much cheaper compare to others. Just take note that most of the computers have 7 pins in the port and if your TVhappen to be 4 pin port this cable is not applicable.
- VGA- This is usually used for HDTV.
- DVI- For a high quality picture. Take note that your computer must have a DVI connection and you need a HDTV.
Good evening,
It is important that you have an adapter s-video - rgb to connect your PC to your TV.
In order to connect your computer to a television set, you need the correct video output hardware on your computer. This can be composite video (a yellow RCA jack), S-video (a black 4-pin connection), or on newer models, a DVI port. These connections are usually found on the video card on the back of the computer, though some multimedia PCs have the ports on the front. If your computer does not have any of these ports, you will not be able to connect your computer to your TV unless you buy a multimedia video card.
