Graphics card 512 or 256

I will buy 1 laptop to make the video acquisition and split these videos to burn; Which one is better for me 512MB or 256MB graphics card .

The video processing utilize much pc memory and not the graphics card. if you want to play some good map 512 and you will be more comfortable.

What You think that a PC with 3 gigabytes of RAM
NVIDIA GForce 256mb
Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz

can allow me to cut my videos (from a camcorder) without problems or is this just limit ?

No worries, such manip not asking for a very powerful PC (my configuration did the same on an old PC 4 years ago: D).
And the power of the graphics card does not at all utilizein video editing, (only for 3D and video games)
