I would like to know when manufacturers ASUS, MSI and others have decided to integrate the graphics chip from ATI in laptops for gamers because notebooks with NVIDIA chips are too expensive because of their majority.

It seems that MSI offers a 17 "equipped with a Puma platform and an ATI graphics card HD3850. By not against HD3870.

That's the problem well, I find no test to determine the performance of MSI and why release a laptop with a HD3850 when there is the HD3870.
I hope that ATI will quickly realize the potential it has come out HD3870 card for gamers and quickly gain market share with aggressive pricing.

The problem is that the 15 "do not necessarily all graphics cards or processors because of their cooling less efficient compared to 17". The Mobility HD3870 should be cause problems of integration on the 15 ", can be a TDP, or a consumer too high for the chassis of this size hmm (As the 9800M GTX in sum)
