Not finished with its LCD introductions from earlier in the week, Dell today introduced two more screens that are this time aimed at business users. The 20-inch E2009W and its slightly larger companion the 22-inch E2209W shed the rounded look of recent displays for a squared design that includes an iMac-style hanging display stand and controls blended subtly into the corner rather than conspicuous buttons.
Either screen is functionally identical to the other with a 1680x1050 resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness and a 5ms pixel response time. Both also have DVI ports with HDCP encryption along with a VGA connection for an analog fallback.
The pricing for Dell's two new displays is close and sees an E2009W cost $249 where the larger E2209W costs only slightly more at $279. Either is available today with the option of a chin-mounted speaker bar.
