Problem with nVidia card

I bought nVidia GeForce 8600M GS card 2 1/2 months back. Recently I got a problem and maybe you can only help me.

As soon as I turn on the computer, my monitor remains off even though the computer itself is running.

I checked my monitor by unplugging its cable and it shows the proper message as it should do.

What is wrong with my monitor and what should I do?

You need to uninstall your older drivers and upgrade to newer one. You would find the new drivers on nVidia website or you can also Google for that.
