    GTX 260 gigabyte

I am owner of a 260 gigabyte GTX and the problem is that under Crysis or other game greedy I can not play for more than 5 min. When the fan on the graphics card mounted in the towers after 3 mi I have a beautiful screen freezes all the colors and I can not do anything.

I think the card has enormously heating bug. My attempts to underclock a little, to lower resolutions and detail but I am just gaining time, the problem lies against any problem by in idle.

I also noted no artifacts problems and it blocks of a sudden.

Seems like some problem with efficiency with the motherboard. Or maybe compatibility with some of the hardware. Can you provide your system specs?

System specs look proper. Wonder why this problem is! The best thing is to allocate it to the manufacturer. It seems to be a manufacturing defect.

    thank you for your answer
You also joined my idea. Even I feel its a manufacturing defect. It might not come from my memory on the motherboard, although I do not think the problem does not lie in either as the processor does not seem to heat around or more than 45°

What software can display the temperature of my graphics card? I see nothing in the ForceWare.

To check the RAM, you can use memetest.
Anyway, if you have display bugs, than is very probably the graphics card that is defective.
