Asus is preparing to launch a model called Geforce EN9400GT/HTP/1G

The Taiwanese Asus is preparing to launch a model called EN9400GT/HTP/1G and presenting himself as a GeForce 9400GT equipped with 1 GB of video memory tendency at 800 MHz. The GPU adopted to a frequency of 550 MHz, while 16 processors flow turning 1375 MHz. With a PCI-Express 2.0, the presence of video decompression engine PureVideo HD nVidia and support for DirectX 10, the GeForce 9400GT probably offers benefits correct with regard to its price positioning, located around 50 euros. It remains a matter of size: is it really appropriate for the user to buy a GPU of this type with 1 GB of video memory, or so much falls Does that marketing pure and simple? The card Asus should be entering the market during the month of September.

This is not NVidia, which manages it. It does a reference design and specifications. It is the manufacturer who decides what he wants to do.
