Computer shuts only when playing games

Hello everyone

My problem is that my computer is shutting down only when I play games (like with CS, Quake 4, etc).

My Specs
OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
Pro: P4
RAM: 1 GB
Videocard: GeForce 8800 GTS

Try using GPU-Z. It allows you to monitor your video card and its temperature. Run GPU-Z and note the idle temperature of your video card. After that play your game and keep on viewing the temperature.

According to me its a psu issue. Can you provide us the detail of the PSU that you are using and how old is it?

Try to get rid of all the dust by opening the case especially near heatsink and just make sure if that works.
