How to draw a graph of the cost baseline?

I am using Microsoft Project 2007 and I want to make a graph that will illustrate the project budget over time, that is actually the cost baseline. I am actually new to this all hings and I will welcome any suggestions given on how to do this things properly. I have found out that this is shown in the form of an S-curve or something? Thanks

You have to establish your scehdule with appropriate timelines, duration, work, etc. After that assign resources to the tasks. Then if you want to generat an S-curve then it is important the resources should be properly costed. Incase that is not possible, then use a generic resource such as Worker1 with a work rate of $1/hr. Then save a baseline by going into Tools >> Tracking >> Set Baseline. After that set the status date equal to the last day of the project and to do that go to Project and then Project Information and then set the status date. After that go to Reports and then Visual Reports and select Earned Value over time. You have to choose a level of granularity for your data.
