Project 2010 Resource Unavailability

In the 'Resource Useage' view there are periods when resources arent assigned to any task (shown as a blank field). This may be because the resource is available but unassigned or unavailable because they are on holiday.
I cant tell which so does anyone know of a way I can display the 'Exceptions' for each resource to show that they are on holiday?

Hello Shopping Boy,

Add the "Remaining Availability" field to the time scaled portion of the view. If the resource has non-working time, the Remaining availability field will be blank.

You can display a resource's calendar as the background of the Resource Usage view, however, you cannot apply multiple resource calendars -- only one at a time.

You can also print a resource's calendar, including exceptions by creating a custom resource report and on the details tab, select "Calendar" under resource. That should print the resource data plus any exceptions on the calendar.
