MS Project 2007 - macro buttons grayed out

I would like to consider using macros in Project 2007 but all of the Macro menu items are grayed out. I tried going to Tools -> Options -> Security tab and clicked on the Macro Security button but nothing comes up.

I have Googled this for a few hours now and have come up with nothing.

How can I get the macro button to be enabled?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Jim

    Hi Jim,

What Macro button? What happens if you go to Tools > Macro > Macros? Did you install the default macros when you installed project? Find the original disks and see if you can change the installation through the control panel.

The other is that there could be a computer setting that is preventing all code (macros in Project, Excel, etc) from running. You may need to check with your IT department to see if they have implemented a security policy that affects VBA or VB code.
