    MSP2010: Show/Hide Assignments

In Microsoft Project 2007 you had a button to hide all resources assignments in the Task Usage view. I believe this button was called 'Show Task Assignments'. This button seems to have disappeared in MSP 2010.

Does anyone have an idea how to hide and show task assignments in the Task Usage view?

You're right, it doesn't appear that the "Show Assignments" button made it to the default ribbon. However, you can customize the ribbon and add the "Assignments" command to the ribbon to restore the functionality.

See the article in Project 2010 help titled "Customize the ribbon" for additional information.

You could also create a filter to hide the assignments by using the Assignments field and setting the value to "No". Then remove the filter (F3) to see all tasks and assignments.
