Vista MC - TV Setup - IR Hardware Not Detected

I’ve a XP Media Center as well as Vista Media Center. Both have the same Hauppauge TV card installed. Whereas XP works fine with TV, Vista is giving me problems. While setting it up, it is unable to pass the IR Hardware Not Detected, also there is no options rather than finish, cancel and Go back. None of these options are useful. The exact error message appears like this: “What the hell, I can't find your IR hardware so screw you”

Any help on this?

I have this exact problem couple of months ago. In my case I just went to Hauppauge website, downloaded latest drivers for my model and installed. That’s it. Problem solved. Give it a try hope it will work.

Thanks a lot for the help karma. That really worked. I downloaded the drivers, unplugged built-in IR device, rebooted and installed the driver. Now its working fine without any error.
