WMP "configure sharing" option greyed out

I have got a laptop at home and I want to use it as a Media Server. But when I go to tools >> options >> library, then the "configure sharing" button is grayed out and cannot be clicked. I then went to services to ensure all dependencies are on and try to start WMPNSS. It will usually start but then stop telling me that "some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs". Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue?

Even I had the same problem but now I have solved, just follow the below steps:

    1. First of all you need to go to Network and Sharing Center, and click Customize
    2. After that in Set Network Location change it to Private
    3. You can then go back to Network and Sharing Centre Screen and click Media Sharing Screen then click the Change button and you should see this screen.
    4. After that you need to tick "Share My Media To" then highlight the computer icon below, then click Allow below it and your done.
