Error Deleting File or Folder. Cannot delete (FILE): Access denied

I am using Vista and getting access denied permission while deleting a file. I never got that error and somehow it started appearing on its own. The laptop use to work fine. There was some virus issue but that was resolved. The virus appeared from the mp4 player. At that point Quickheal showed up a set of warning and it says that it has cleared the same. I am not able to understand why the issue appear. There is no virus and I am the system admin.

The virus has modified the file permission because of which you are getting that error. Go in safe mode and then try to delete the file. You must scan your system thoroughly in safe mode. Norton is one of the best antivirus for this kind of issues. There is a virus still in the computer. Here system restore can help you to deal with problem for sometime but still the virus lies inside the system.

There is a still virus in the system and the file permission is modified. You can keep your system in continuous scanning mode. The antivirus might heal your files. There will be temporary relief only. You must avoid using a free antivirus at this point. The virus has entered in the system and has modified the file permission. There is very less chances to restore the same. It is recommended to scan your system and then if that does not work you must re-install windows.
