Realtek HD sound effect manager and headphones

Facing some problem with Realtek HD sound effect manager on my Vista computer. I love listening music hence whenever I sit on my system, I put headphones on ears. But the problem is since I installed vista, whenever I connect headphones system control panel and Realtek HD sound effect manager first want to confirm me whether I want to use headphones or not. This is really very irritating. Is there any way to get rid of this permanently? Please help.

First of all you should try updating the drivers. Once done, just right click volume icon in the system tray and select manager. If everything is OK, you will be also able to select headphones through the Sounds and Audio Devices in the control panel.
