I work for a company where we need to make amateur movies and hence I bought a new HP laptop with Media Centre and Windows XP Installed. Now am facing some compatibility problems with this system. First thing I would like to know is whether Media Center provided with XP is different from the Media Center Editions? Second problem am facing is I created a movie on this new system using SONIC DIGITAL MEDIA PLUS V7 but while viewing the movie I lags too much. And as soon as I close Sonic window, I get three different error messages as follows:

1. Mediahub.exe..Application error. Exception privileged instruction 0x0000096 occurred. App.0x00762166.
   
   
2. Inst.@0x00a77ff7 ref memory 0xff7621f5.Mem.could not be written @0x00000000 Ref mem 'ditto'
   
   
3. Runtime error. .Files\Sonic shared\Sonic Central\Main Mediahub.exe R6025..pure vital function call!

It happens every time when I close Sonic. Can somebody please help me with the same?

I don’t specifically about Sonic but I was facing few errors while shutting down any application on my HP laptop. I called up HP folks and they provided me a download link of a Patch that fixed all errors at once. I don’t remember that download URL anymore but you can get it from HP. So just call up them and get the patch.

Thank you very much for this useful info friend, I’ll surely get that patch from HP and install. But I’m still not happy buying this XP, instead I should have bought Media Center PC itself.
