Is there any way to repair my Win XP Media Center 2005

I am running Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition and I am continuously getting error message and then it changed to a different one and then comes back to the first error message. I have got 2 CDs of Windows Media Center, but I dont know how to repair install the operating system? Can anyone teach me how to do that? Thanks

It is very simple to repair install Windows XP Media Center Edition on your pc, simply follow the below steps:
    1. First of all insert your Windows Media installation CD in your computer drive.
    2. After that click "Enter" on the "Welcome to Setup" page. Read the "Microsoft Software License Terms," then click F8.
    3. Now you have to select your most recent installation of Windows XP Media Center, and on your keyboard press "R" for "Repair."
    4. After that you just need to follow the on-screen instructions until the repair is complete.

I think that you will need to start to install the operating system by doing a fresh install and also post the error messages that you are getting over here. I believe that the repair installation would not work for you.
