Embedded Album Art with WMP 11 On Windows Vista 32bit

On Windows Media Player 11 embedded album art is not working. I am using Windows Vista here. I had downloaded album art for all songs from the web. They are stored in the folder where all audio files are stored. I can see albumart.jpg file hidden in the folder. But it is not showing up in Media Player 11. While thumbnails are displayed in Windows Explorer.

The album art is embedded in the audio file which is take already by the music files. I want to know that does this also works for wma files also. There are tools like Advance Tag edition that will offer you option for configuring images in mp3 files. There are some better editor that are available for mp3 but for other formats I cannot find anything.

Yes there are some third party audio file editor that allows to do that. I had done all of them one by one. Many popular audio player comes with settings to configure album arts. Instead of downloading that you can allow Windows Media Player to retrieve additional information directly from the web and it will add album art and other related information automatically. For that just go in Tools > Options > Library and select Retrieve additional information from the internet.
