A possible solution to Error C00D116F

    Hello,

When I am trying to play video in my windows media player I am getting a error message C00D116F. It turned out the problem saying "unauthorised" characters in the folder name. I am using "&" because its my wedding video files.

Well I think this because you are using "&". I would suggest you to delete the "&" from the folder name, everything will work fine for you. If you receive this kind of error code in future simply check the DVD folder on your hard disk, for these character. This is really old solution, but it really helped me losing some really good videos of my family.
