FLAC and Windows Media Player 12

I got a huge playlist those are in FLAC format and every important. I tried playing them in Windows Media Player 12 but it wont play.

Is there any way we can run FLAC files in WMP12? I really need it to play.

There is no option to play FLAC in WMP by default but you can make it play by using Ogg Vorbis directshow filter. Its Free. Or alternatively you can download VLC Player. It plays almost all formats.

Hey Miltongomes, are you sure it can be done with the help of DirectShow filters because as far as I know they also don’t work with Media Player v12. The only way I can suggest is you can view/edit FLAC tags in WMP's library, and seek FLAC files, you will need to install WMP Tag Plus. See if it helps.
