WMP cannot play mp3 format sound

Hello All,

I have some problem with my windows media player, whenever I am trying to play mp3 format files I am not able to play them rest movies and jpg files are just fine. Other files and format also works fine. I am getting error code "Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct."

I have installed Itunes and a new turntable recorder in my machine recently. I think after I am finding difficulties to play mp3 format files. Can you please help ?
