Media Sharing over internet?

Is it possible to use windows Media Player sharing with MY laptop ?? Currently i am having PS3 and other PC's using Media Sharing but i want to know if it is possible over the internet. Let me know how? if it is possible. Any help regrading this will be appreciated.

I guess it might be possible, as far as i am aware Media sharing can be done using UPnP in your home network. However your devices connected to the home network wont be visible over the internet but than you can open appropriate ports on your router and point the same to music server within home network. In this case your laptop will use IP address of your router and media sharing should be on.
