Calling New Delhi, anyone?

They had a presene here, but dunno haven't seen much of them in recent times. Otherwise, I see the same good speeds with Hotwire 9pm-9am (128kpbs @ 399/-), however, just wanted to hear some Hathway feedback from other parts...

I think the bargain is really good.This type of rates havent even come up in Hyderabad.As for ur download speeeds just try downloading some files with a download manager.Coz in reliance Webworld I downloaded a 180 MB file in 180 secs with the help of Internet Download Manager ie 1MB/SEC .U can get it here http://internetdownloadmanager.com/idman403.exe

Hmmmm... are you sure you dont mean 180 KB file in 180 secs ?? I get 1 mb in about 45secs with a conx speed of 256kbps - is Reliance 45 times faster than a 256kbps Cable Modem conx ??

They let u use Download managers at RWW? i thot u cudnt install any software there..

Exattnet has revised its rates in mulund...

Whoa those are good! paying 1k for a 128 kbps now....i hope this comes to New Delhi too.

It means that Hathway themselves do not provide the connection directly. Your local cable operators are the ones that provide it on behalf of Hathway, hence they are allowed to get a "kick-back" a.k.a. commission for their services on behalf of Hathway.

I jsut contacted hathway, however they seem to have extended their area of service, last time I had contacted them some 1 year ago and they werent providing service in my locality, now they say they have only 2 packages one is 128kbps always on ultd at 995+10.2% tax + 100 modem rental, the other one being 256Kbps 1GB per month(I asked him to stop after hearing a dload limit based plan, so dont know how much that one will cost). they asked for 2k as initial feeS(1k refundable). I asked them abt nightplans and the person says, gimme ur address, our agents will come and contact you, anyway, lets see what happens...

also I want to try out the New BSNL connections, I havent been following their new tariffs etc etc, can someone direct me towards their new tariffs and stuff...I desperately want to get a more than 128kbps conn at cheap rates ultd data, halfday plan based accnt...

Im Using hathway 512kbps plan

my donload speed is 71kb/s and upload is 28kb/s

When i use uttorent Or Play online Game I download 4or5 GB in day !

But if i Say Hathway Sucks !!

Getting Net down Problems since 2weeks

call center Is all Ways Busy

I pray All Day To God " Please God Fix My Net I payed 1600Rupees " Just 2Week Ago

How long you have been using the Hathway Broadband internet? And which area do you reside? Basically I pay Rs. 678 including all the taxes for the Hathway Broadband and I get normally a download speed of 58-60 kbps. Also, in my area i hardly see the ner going down, but usually when it goes down then their service team or support are of no use.
