How is Airtel myPlan for Family ?

I have heard that Airtel has recently launched a Airtel myPlay for family, has anyone used it so far? How many people can I add in this plan? What is the rental Plan and are there any additional packs as well? Is there any hidden fee as well to add as many family member that I want? Please let me know about the costs of this plans? Also do I need to have a postpaid SIM to use this plan or will it work on prepaid sim card as well? Thanks for any information.

The Airtel myPlan for Family is only for Postpaid customers and not for prepaid sim card holders of Airtel. After getting any of these plan you can share the benefits with 5 of your family members and thus avoid any wastage or overspend that is charded in individual plans. You can add upto five add-on accounts at a fee of Rs. 99 per add-on account per month and then start to share the plan benefits with your family.

Re: How is Airtel myPlan for Family ?

I have taken the Rs. 299 plan and got 8 Free packs. The packs can be anything from this list such as, 100 minutes local mobile calls free or 135mb 3G data free or 40 minutes of roaming outgoing free or 90 minutes of STD calls free or 250mb of 2G data free. So, if you are going for this one then you can use any combination of the said packs. Note that this plan is not for the prepaid customers of Airtel as said above.
