Idea Roaming from Uttar Pradesh East to Mumbai incoming call free plan?

My wife has got her Idea Sim card from Uttar Pradesh East and now she is living with me in Mumbai. So, basically this makes her sim card roaming here in mumbai, meaning, even for receiving a call from anyone around any part of India, her mobile phone will be charged for some amount. So, I want to know if there is any plan that will make her incoming call atleast free in her Idea Sim card. I am soon going to buy a new Vodafone Sim card anyways because this is really a pain paying amount for outgoing call as well as incoming call. Thanks

There is a Rs.73 plan that you can do via Topup Recharge for roaming incoming free and roaming outgoing to local/national @1.5p per second. However, note that you might be required to take the topup recharge from any local mobile shop who gives all this type of topup cards. I too was trying to topup this same roaming plan online for my one friend in Uttar Pradesh living in east but the online recharge for this Rs.73 was not working at all.

I would recommend you to get your wife a new Sim Card from Vodafone or either some other mobile network provider. It is simply a waste to use the Uttar Pradesh East Sim card of Idea in Mumbai. This will not only make you spend more money on the mobile recharge but it will also cost you more while making any outgoing calls, using internet and so on. The best thing would be to grab a new Sim card in Mumbai area for your wife.
