I guess you can block any webpages or url within the VMC AN1020-21 modem or router itself. Just open Internet Explorer and then type 192.168.1.1, put in your default username and password and then login to the configuration page and check in the option for blocking facebook pages or any other pages if you would like.
Almost all routers comes with filtering stuff. Where you can add certain urls and block them from accessing. Social sites are kind of huge pain for companies. There are people who constantly keep on using it at work time. In router look for a Filter section. In that you have to find URL Filter. And then type the url. You type the entire website name mentioned in that place. You can also try adding multiple web urls in it. Some router offer you time based filtering. That means you can block those things only for specific time. Once done just save the settings and test.
My friend has WD MyNet router. This is a amazing router with web based features. You just have to configure it online and you can control it through your web browser. You don't need to do anything in the router. It also has a android application through which you can easily manage the router. I am planing to get one. In my case I am using a third party software. I had configure my PC IP ad the default gateway to access internet and I use a Parental Control software to filter various urls which I want to block. It is far more easier to manage the same through a router.
