Best 3g service provider in Mumbai

I have been using loop mobile’s slow GPRS 2G service and now I am planning to get another other operator prepaid sim card and enjoy their 3g services in my dual sim phone. I am from Mumbai and I want to know which mobile operator stands best as far as 3G service is concerned, keeping the price in Mind. I am aware of the operators already and I just want people over here to point me to the best one. Thanks in advance.

I have been using Airtel 3G and they haven’t disappointed me by now. If you want to get 1 GB data for one month then you will have to spend Rs.252. The Charges Post consumption of Plan data benefit is 3p/10KB. It’s almost the same price that you will pay for Vodafone 3G services.

+1 for Vodafone, it’s surely better than Airtel in Mumbai. I don’t know about other places. Many of my friends were using Airtel 3G service but they have switched to Vodafone recently. The above mentioned plan is best for newbie. In case you want to test it then you can get below plan.

Validity: 7 days

Above one is the cheapest 3G plan from Vodafone. I know 150 MB is less but then it’s enough for testing purpose. If you can arrange a Vodafone sim card for time being then you can surely check it out. If you like it then you can get a new sim, if you don’t then you can get some other companies sim.

I was using Ideas below plan:

However, I have switched to Vodafone recently and am enjoying it.

Yes go for Vodafone, Idea 3G plans are costly and I don’t have any idea about Tata docomo’s plans. In Mumbai there is a tough competition between Airtel and Vodafone but it depends on the region as well. In some region Vodafone is the best where as in some region Airtel is the best. I am using Vodafone form a long time and I think they have better plan compared to the other operators in market.
They are better compared to Airtel in below terms as well:
Vodafone - Charges beyond allowance: 2p/10KB
Airtel - Charges beyond allowance: 3ps/10KB

Ok, I’ll go with Vodafone as most of you have voted for the same. My friends were telling me to go for Vodafone earlier but I just wanted to confirm it as I don’t trust them.
