    Setting up VoIP in vmc an1020-21 in airtel broadband

    I just borrowed this model AN1020 VMC-modem / router from a friend to see if I can setup the FXS port for VoIP calls, as I have a SIP account. With a little Google, it was a success. I want to configure this modem in airtel broadband.

    You must be in "PPPoE" mode

    1. Modem and click Open the configuration settings of voice ---->
      in the window that opens;
      Select ----> enable VoIP functionality
      Interface name pppoe_0_35 ------->
      ----> India Region
      CID Type ---> FSK
      DTMF mode --->-band
      Click "OK", but do not restart
    2. Skip to SIP
      Enter "sippage" (without quotes) in the proxy server, Secretary, and output field domain user
    3. 3. Go to End Points page
      Click on the pencil mark to editIn the name of the endpoint ----> enter your Gizmo5 phone number
      Enter name ----> enter your username SIP Username
      Password enter the password ----> SIP
      Display Name ---> SIP user name display the name
      State Admin ---> for the service

    I made the similar configuration of my router and the VoIP light is bright green ad. On the other hand, connecting pstn forever, there is no dial tone. And as I tried Actionvoip spokn my voip account. I am using DHCP for IP address. Let me know what I am doing wrong.

    Are you linked to PPPoE ("always on") mode? Your username / pw entered / stored in the modem WAN page. In Lan DHCP enabled page. Offer a range 192.168.x.x and 192.168.x.x

    What is the additional router is used after AN1020-21.? Any LAN port for Internet connection and desk work? This ensures the connection to the VoIP service is good. I’m using Vongo / Ooma and smoothly.

    They are familiar with and actionvoip Spokn. Getting more details. It appears that you have to use ID / PW and dial from your computer. Using the supplied software.

    Please check if it is in "bridge" mode or PPPoE. The "bridge" is used to connect to the network and "PPPoE" just turn the modem and start surfing.

    Are you connected to PPPoE ("always on") mode? - There is a setting to PPPoE mode forever. I think it's always in the way. Your username / pw entered / stored in the modem WAN page. In Lan DHCP enabled page. Give a range 192.168.xx.x and 192.168.xx.x to say

    You must be missing something in configuration. Just go through the guide and contrast again. The phone and the ports should be fine

    Conclusion here. If you are in default condition, it is likely that the "bridge" checkbox on the page so WAN.

    PPPoE ( "bridge") the "bridging" box default selection overall. Enter user ID / pw in a Windows system and registry in.Using PPPoE client software

    • PPPoE ("Always On")
    • Disabling selected PPPoE box "bridge" above.
    • Next Page / Next
    • Enter your user ID / PW in the WAN configuration page
