Nokia X6:GPRS and Network feature of Reliance

I am a school student, recently bought a mobile Nokia X6 with the Reliance GSM connection. I have no such information about the Reliance network and also would like to use the GPRS facility of the Reliance, is there anyone who can provide me some information about the feature of the Reliance network and also the GPRS connectivity? Also how to access the internet service of the Reliance? Is there any requirement for the internet access?

The Reliance communication is having a lot of the advanced feature with the Internet service. It supports the Enhanced EDGE which will provide the high speed internet service. This one is used in both the Mobile and the computer, where if you are using the Reliance internet service. Along with the GSM network supports the services like the Over the Air with the auto synchronization facility. There is another facility in the CDMA technology is that the clock service for the network, it will track the way of working. All the SIM card are having the facility named as the SIM Toolkit, by this technique it will send the configuration setting in the mobile. This facility is also works in the Automated Configuration Request.

In the reliance service you have to look for the R-World for the WAP access in your mobile with the Reliance GSM service. This is one also available in the CDMA technology. All of them are depend on the service of the service provider. It is having the good frequency with the good telecom service. It is having the GPS facility, but not sure whether that is available in the GSM network. it supports all the basic features like the call waiting, call forward, sms, mms and other basic features of the mobile.

I know the GSM GPRS setting of the Reliance connection. this will help you to configure the GPRS connectivity in your mobile. Keep off the Login Request of the web service. Give the GPRS access point name as the rcomwap, this is for the WAP connection. The Authentication name is PAP, along with these options turn off the option Data Compression and the Header Compression. For the Reliance GPRS connection the setting name should be Mobile World. Type “wap.rworld.co.in” in the space of the Home page or the WAP Page. Insert the IP in the space of the server address 010.239.221.005. the port number is 8080,m it is by default for the internet connection in any mobile. Leave blank the spaces for the user name and the password. Now try connect the internet from the mobile, and enjoy the service from the Reliance.

If you are trying to access MMS in your mobile through the Reliance internet connection, then go through the following process. This will help you configure and access the internet. give the APN name as the “rcommms”. Here you also turn off the option Log-in Request. The setting name should be the “Reliance MMS”. Page name or the home page is like the wap.rworld.co.in. the proxy server address and the port number of the server is 010.239.221.005 and the 8080. Full name of the address is the 010.239.221.005:8080(this require for the windows phone). Keep blank the option Data Compression, Header Compression, User Name and the password.
