The Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router will be available in four cities to begin with—Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. The device is priced at Rs. 6,500 in the open market, but is being made available at an introductory price of Rs. 4,999. It comes with an in-built battery for 2.5 hours of seamless operation and sports a RJ45 Ethernet port for local area network (LAN) support.
