How to Install and Activate TATA Photon + (Windows XP and Windows Vista)

Hello to all,
I have recently bought a cool new TATA Photon to activate internet on my computer. I have two computer, on one computer I have Windows XP and on other computer I have Windows Vista. I don't know how to install and Activate TATA Photon. Can anyone tell me how to Install and Activate TATA Photon + (Windows XP and Windows Vista). Please help me.

Use following steps to Install and Activate TATA Photon on your computer.
1.First connect your TATA Photon USB modem to your computer. Now wait for few minutes until drivers of your USB modem installed in your computer.
2.Now go to the device manager and check whether your modem is configured or not. Now go to the modem properties and in the advanced option type ‘AT+CRM=1’ . It is used to modem faster.
3.Now install the Huawei software manager.
4.Now check whether device is identified as ‘HISA’ or not.
5. Now go to the activate option. Now type *228 and click on the activate button.
If asked for password, just type "0000" as default password.

Use following steps to setup your tata photon.
1.First connect usb modem to router via your LAN.
2.now open web browser.
3.If asked for username and password, juts enter default username and password that you get with used guide.
4.Now open WAN setting.
5.Now select AutoPan.
6.Obtain DNS server address automatically.
7.Now save setting and restart your computer.

You have to use following steps to activate the modem through Account Tool:
1.First put data card in the system.
2.Now open Account tool option.
3.There you will find three option like MIN, SUB ID, SPC.
4.Now in the SPC type 000000 and press write button.
5.Now close the dialog box and restart computer.

Use following steps to register online.

To Login:

1. For Individual account holder, kindly log on to www.tataindicom.com and click on the e-profile link.

2. To register yourself for the service, click on the New User link.

3. Then you will have to select on the User Type, select Postpaid.

4. Now, you will have to key in your Telephone Number, E-mail address, and then click on the Submit button.

5. This process will register you for the service.

1.First connect TATA Photon USB modem to your computer.
2.Now it will install necessary drivers.
3.Now open Access Manager CDROM and run AutoRun.exe.
4.Now start Huawei Access Manager program.
5.Now now in the Activate option type *228 and press activate button.
6.Now close Access Manager Program and unplug tata photon.
7.After sometime again plug it and start surfing.

Use following steps to activate TATA Photon.
Just connect your tata photon device in your computer.
Now open Huawei Access Manager program and type *228 and activate it.
Now un-plug tata photon and after sometimes again plug it.
Now you can surf internet on your computer.

i recently installed XP service pack 3 and i installed Photon plus. when i click the connect option, it is coming "connection terminated".at the same time i connected into my friend laptop having Windows 7, it is connecting easily. kindly help me that how to resolve this problem...

I think that you will have to check and start your "telephony" service under services. You can also try to uninstall the Huawei Access Manager by going into Device Manager [Control Panel] and then click View> Devices by type > Universal Serial Bus controllers and then uninstall the USB composite device. After that just Remove photon device and Restart the system and insert device and install the driver software again.
