Configure Photon plus for Ubuntu 9.04

Recently i have installed a Ubuntu 9.04 on my LG desktop. I have also purchased a new Tata photon plus USB data card for using a broad band connection. I am very much new to Ubuntu and do not know how to use the Photon plus on Ubuntu . Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Before specifying the steps to continue with it i would like to know which Model of the tata photon Plus USB data card are you using. Since all the models are not compatible with the Ubuntu OS. So first of all try to confirm this with the customer support whether he model which you are using is compatible.

or specify it in your future posts

Re: Configure Photon plus for Ubuntu 9.04

First of all i would like to tell you that there are only two models of Photon plus data cards that are available in the market. Only one of these model supports Linux Operating system and the other is not compatible with Linux Operating system. The EC1260 photon plus is only compatible with Ubuntu.9.04

The best solution to this will be to call the Tata Customer care or technical support they will guide you through the whole procedure to get your tata Photon Plus connected with your Ubuntu 9.04 application. This is the simplest way i can suggest you to get your photon plus connected to your system.
