Airtel unlimited 512 kpbs @ 649 only

I am currently using the Airtel Browser 699 (Airtel/MM/FL/11) plan. This cost's me around Rs. 699 per month. I have used this plan for the last 6 months. Recently I got a mail from Airtel which highlighted the Airtel unlimited 512 kpbs @ 649 only plan. But when I checked on Airtel Website there was no information about this anywhere. Was this a spam mail? Also which connection should I go for other then Airtel for unlimited download?

I too have been using the Airtel Unlimited 699 plan and I have to admit that this is really a waste of money. My connection is not stable for most of the time. The download speed is never upto the mark which is mentioned for the plan. It has to give a download speed of 384 Kbps, but the speedtest results shows me only around 150 Kbps speed. So even I am thinking to switch to a different ISP other than Airtel.

I have also checked the website of Airtel broadband but I also failed to find any plan of 649 rs. I guess you got a mail for a promotional plan which might not yet be available for everyone but only for randomly selected Airtel Subscriber. So you may check about it be visiting your nearest Airtel outlet. They will let you know in detail about the plan if it exists.

I guess Airtel is the best internet service provider when it comes to customer care. It might be that the plans are not as feasible as those provided by other internet service providers but Airtel helpdesk is really at your service. I have used MTNL but the service provided was pathetic and so I then got Airtel connection which I am now satisfied with. So I suggest you to carry on with the Airtel.

Take my advise and go for any of the suitable MTNL broadband unlimited plans. They provide the best broadband internet connection. The downtown is almost negligible. Yes it is true that MTNL never hosted a good customer support, but now it has improved to a huge extent. And the cost of each plan is also acceptable.
