New topups by Reliance launched in Karnataka

Hi,
Reliance has going to introduce some new types top ups recently. It was in the news and recharge was not confirmed. I had seen on a forum a similar discussion on this. That there is some types of recharge which reliance is going to introduce for the karnataka region. What is it and what plan and amount does this offers. Does this is a new one or related to older recharge.

That is right. Reliance is going to give a new recharge for the people of Karnataka called as RC162. This is will charge you Rs. 162. Here are the features of this recharge. First by taking this option you can make call from Reliance Mobile either CDMA or GSM at 20 paisa per minute. The validity of this recharge stays for 365 days. That is around a year.

The condition of this new RC162 recharge that is you can only make calls to Reliance phones. That means 20 paisa per minute will be applicable only to Reliance CDMA and GSM mobile phone. If you call on other then your tariff will remain as per your old status. The best thing about this recharge is that the same tariff rates remain constant on roaming also.

365 days validity seems a long time really. But the features is only beneficial for those who have a broader Reliance network. Otherwise for other calls the rates are same. You must note down that you can get this by a e-recharge. The offers of this scheme has limitation. This offers is only limited to 31st March, 2010. After that you will not get a chance to get this offer.

Other than RC162 Reliance s also offering some other options. Here you can see for Rs. 333 and Rs. 666 recharge where you get full talk-time as compare to what you get before. The best things about this recharge is that you get more additional amount every subsequent month you will get additional Rs.33. That looks a value for money. I am thinking to get this now.

That is right. The new recharge of Rs. 333 and Rs. 666 gives you additional money for the continuous next two month. For example if you recharge for Rs. 666 then for the next 5 months you will get Rs. 66 additional every month. And if you recharge of Rs. 333 then you get additional Rs. 33 for the next two months. Then you have to recharge again for enjoying this offer.
