How to calcuate usage of USB Modem

    Hi,
I am going to buy a TATA Photon Whiz USB Modem for a Wireless Internet support. I want some tariff plan details of the modem. Also what are the new features and support of this product. Is it a good choice for wireless internet. Second thing how can I calculate each and every time that what amount of net is used up. Is there any option available in this category. What are the ways for the same. Thanks in advance.

There are two Tariffs plans available right now. The Postpaid Tariffs and the Prepaid Tariffs. I am using the Postpaid Tariffs so I can put more light on that. Under Postpaid Tariffs the charges are applied under three ways. First Time Based, Data Based and Unlimited Plan. Under these three the first one Time Based offers you Budget 150 (Rs.Rs.150/mth 5 Hrs freeusage and 50p/min additioanl chg), Value 325 (Rs.325/mth 30 Hrs freeusage and 8 A.M.- 12Midnight: 50p/min 12 Midnight - 8 AM : 25p/min additioanl chg), Night 400 ( Rs. 400/mth Unlimited from 11pm to 7 am & 50p/min from 7 am to 11 pm ) and Value 525 ( Rs.525/mth 3600 Mins (60 Hrs) & 8 A.M.- 12Midnight: 50p/min 12 Midnight - 8 AM : 25p/min ).

The prepaid plan is the easiest one and convenient also. You will need to just activate you DATA card and then put a recharge of Rs. 100. The recharge is the regular one which is used for mobiles. You can simply start with a starter kit of Rs. 149 with 200 min usage. The data charge is Rs. 0.6 with voice call support in need.
