Wimax is cheaper then cablenet ?

Hi

I read many offers on wimax internet service on TATA inicom sites and on reliance sites i want to know that is wimax internet is cheaper then cablenet ? and is there issue with Wimax service. ?

I don't think WIMAX is cheaper then any cablenet. I am using Reliance WIMAX service there Reliance tariff plan is costly compare to MTNL Triband service Reliance provides 300 kbps speed at Rs. 900 where as MTNL provides 512 kbps (unlimited) speed at Rs. 999.

In my area cable operators takes Rs.1500 deposit but Reliance takes only RS.500 as deposit. In wimax only ISP get benefits they save cable and maintenance cost. In Wimax you will face speed issue in rainy season. Instead of wimax go with cablenet.

Wimax tariff plan is not cheap compare to cable broadband : you can check Wimax tariff plan Reliance WiMAX Unlimited tariff plan and TATA WiMax tariff plan
BSNL also launched Wimax service. Currently in india TATA , reliance, BSNL and Internext provides Wimax service.
