when will i get access to high speed internet?

Hi

I am using BSNL broadband connection 256 kbps speed. I just want to know when ISP will launch high speed internet in Ahmednagar (Near Pune). Only BSNL available in Ahmednagar for broadband speed. I required 2 mbps speed or more then that.

In Pune high speed internet available. TATA and Airtel provide 2 mbps speed internet connection in Pune. BSNL also having 2 mbps plan. I guess BSNL Internet is good compare to private ISP.

ISPs in India can't handle 256kbps properly even at present.....

Where are you from? I mean which City in India? In Mumbai Hathway Internet Broadband is cheap and their services are better than other ISPs. It will be more convenient if you provide more info about your ISP and area.

I guess you are still unknown from what India is capable of... Well there is a ISP in mumbai "Internext" which offers 256kbps unlimited for Rs. 500/- i use it...

The Cheaper & Fastest Is BSNL evdo now a days, which gives 2.4Mbps speed at 550+68 tax monthly I m using Both Bsnl Broadband 750/ unlimited & my brother had Bsnl Evdo.My average Download from Evdo is nearly 175gb and from Broadband is 65-70Gb
