I am using Email via Cox Communications/POP3 will receive email but problem occurs when attempting to SEND email. Emails will not send at all. prompted me to set up the outgoing server and even though I entered the SMTP server name and Port number just as it is on all my other PC's (via Outlook) it is telling me it can't find the server.

• Set up your Cox email using "Automatic Setup". Use your COX/POP3 User name and Password. Make sure you select the Save Password check box.
• In the Outgoing Server field manually input smtp.sprintpcs.com.
• Select(check) the Outgoing server requires authentication check box.
• In Outgoing Server Settings screen select(check) Use different user name for outgoing sever check box.
• Input your SPRINT User Name and Password. Make sure you select the Save Password check box. Leave Require SSL connection check box blank/unchecked.

incoming pop3 server needs to be: pop.west.cox.net
outgoing settings: smtp.west.cox.net
port: 465
Security: SSL(always)

Under Incoming Mail Server, enter the incoming mail server settings.

• Host Name - The Cox.net incoming mail server. Refer to Email and News Server Names to confirm mail server names.
• User Name - The Cox.net email address.
• Password - The Cox.net email password.

Under Outgoing Mail Server, enter the outgoing mail server settings.

• Host Name - The Cox.net outgoing mail server. Refer to Email and News Server Names to confirm mail server names.
• User Name - The Cox.net email address.
• Password - The Cox.net email password.
