Can i Insert Idea Sim in Airtel USB modem ?

I my friend having Airtel USB modem i want to use my idea sim in that Airtel USB modem is this possible ?
Or not then how to do that ?

Yes, you can insert idea sim in Airtel USB modem but then you need to change settings of USB modem.

I don't think you will be able to change SIM because I think Airtel USB modem is locked. so you can not use other service provider sim.
